We presented our work to a group of my peers for a 5 minute overview of what i have done over the summer, After my presentation the group presented me with my feed back, by looking through this i can then look back on my work for a reflection and can apply what feedback i have received to my design and can then look into what i need to do to improve my design.

Design Development and Creation of final design:

Final Product and photography:
Photographed finals: I am fairly happy with the finished product, the one colour print gives the design a crisp outcome and gives simplicity to the design.

Layout design sheets:

I have decided that for my design i am not going to hold a constant theme throughout i am instead going to have the whole publication printed in black and white to hold some consistency throughout, my type will be in no grid system and will appear to be floating about this is inspired by my visual research into life in space and zero gravity.

Format Ideas -

I decided that i would experiment a little with the format of my publication i decided that i wanted the viewer to be able, to read the publication in two ways the diagram below shows. The booklet can be read as a normal book format and can also be laid out for a larger audience or just too view the booklet as a timeline:

The above part of the diagram shows my genral idea for a common booklet layout this formed by a consatina folding allowing the whole publication to fold out.

Designs that have inspired my practice:

BOLO 1: Magazine and Editorial:
This editorial and magazine design, was one of my biggest inspirations i love the simplicity of the design. and the use of a black and white print. i feel this stops the design being so overpowering and gives the design a feeling of simplicity.
